Cobra apples from one of my three Cobra trees. The apples were ripe when picked.  I ate one and turned the rest into apple pie.  As suggested I used very little sugar and the results are satisfactory.  I suspect that these apples will also make good juice and possibly contribute to good cider.  Time will tell.  All in all I am happy with the variety, it seems to hold promise.
