Wind

I have had to add some extra support for some of my younger trees today.  The wind is shaking some severely enough to loosen the stems in the soil.  Because the weather has been mild, we've only had four frosts this autumn, some of the young trees still have leaf cover.  To help them with the wind I have stripped the leaves from the branches.  They were loose but still had enough hold to remain on the branches and increase the wind resistance to dangerous proportions.  This seemed to help.  I'll add some pictures tomorrow.
