Pinova

I now have three Pinova apple trees.  The first is now in it's second year and is strong and healthy.  But it's flowering as if flowering is about to go out of fashion.  They are supposed to be heavy cropping and seeing how this little tree is flowering I can believe it.  The two smaller trees were planted as one year maidens last winter, they are both producing flowers but I won't let either of them carry any fruit this year.  The fruit fits the criteria I was looking for, high yielding and good keeping qualities. I will allow the older tree to carry a small amount of fruit this year, if it sets any.  I probably shouldn't but I'm impatient to see some fruit.
