Opal Plum Tree

All winter this tree had been bothering me. I have always thought it had potential but it was so leggy that I was sure it would be ruined if I didn't shop something. So I pruned it, I really pruned it. For a couple of weeks I was worried, I thought I had gone too far, there wasn't a leaf bud left. It was slow starting to bud but once it got going there has been no stopping it. It's doing so well that I'm going to take out some off the crossing branches now to ensure it puts its effort into useful growth. It really looks to have potential now.
