Normanby Orchard

I have always wanted an Orchard and until five years ago I have never had a site that was anywhere near suitable.  Yes, if we have had the site for five years it has taken me a long time to start my orchard but since what we bought was a building plot with around three quarters of an acre and we needed somewhere to live as a priority my wife thought it prudent to complete the house first, women are strange like that sometimes. But finally last year the house and garden were reasonably established and I had time to start on my plans for the orchard.  The posts that follow will probably consist of a list of my mistakes and occasional success but we shall see.
